Marco Livesu (cino)

I am a permanent researcher at CNR-IMATI. My research interests are in computer graphics, with a special focus on mesh generation, surface and volumetric maps, medial descriptors and fabrication. I received both my B.Sc and my M.Sc from University of Cagliari, respectively in 2008 and 2010. In 2011 I started my Phd in Mathematics and Computer Science, advised by Prof. Riccardo Scateni. During the first part of my PhD I focused on the skeletonization problem. Between September 2012 and April 2013 I visited the Imager Lab, where I worked with Alla Sheffer on solid polycube maps and hexahedral meshing.
Before joining IMATI I was at University of Cagliari, working with Prof. Riccardo Scateni. From February to August 2015 I visted prof. Enrico Puppo at University of Genoa. From June 2014 to January 2015 I was a post-doctoral fellow at University of British Columbia, working with Prof. Alla Sheffer.
